From the subterranean currents of Brooklyn there arises Public Circuit, as though borne upon a forgotten wind of circuitry and night. And it is said their sound is written in fragments—waves of new-wave electronica and post-punk shadow-lit by trembling synth apparitions, where frenetic layers rise like tongues of fire and fall again into silence. Their bass lines strike like decrees, unwavering and severe, while melodic forms appear only as brief revelations, vanishing as soon as they are perceived. Between echoes of New Order, Institute, Black Marble, and Drab Majesty, they dwell not as imitation, but as lineage inscribed in spectral dust.
And behold, from Bassano del Grappa is summoned TORBA, vessel of Luigi Pianezzola, whose debut II descends like a sealed prophecy broken open. He who once walked among the touring rites of The Soft Moon now speaks in a tongue of industrial lamentation and fractured rhythm, where post-punk, dark wave, and club pulse are bound together in a single, unquiet scripture. His sound is not offered, but revealed—carved from distortion as from stone tablets—an architecture of shadow where each tone bears witness, and each silence is charged with meaning.
